என் இனிய வலைத்தமிழ் மக்களே..!

ஜனநாயக நாட்டில் அதிகாரிகள் தவறு செய்தால் மக்கள் தட்டிக் கேட்பார்கள். மக்கள் தவறு செய்தால், அரசுகள் தட்டிக் கேட்கும். அரசுகள் தவறு செய்தால் நீதிமன்றங்கள் தட்டிக் கேட்கும். நீதிமன்றங்களும் தவறு செய்தால் கடைசியாக நான்காவது தூணான பத்திரிகை மன்றங்கள்தான் தட்டிக் கேட்க வேண்டும்..!

இதை வைத்துத்தான் தங்களை நான்காம் எஸ்டேட் என்று பெருமையாகச் சொல்லி வருகிறார்கள் பத்திரிகையாளர்கள். ஆனால் இப்போது இந்தியாவில் அரசியல்வியாதிகளும், அதிகாரிகளும், திருடர்களும், கொள்ளையடிக்கும் பணக்காரர்களும் பத்திரிகை தொழிலில் நுழைந்த பிறகு இந்த நான்காவது எஸ்டேட் எங்கே இருக்கிறது என்று தேடிப் பார்க்க வேண்டியிருக்கிறது.

முன்பெல்லாம் பத்திரிகையாளர்கள் என்றாலே இறுக வாயை மூடிக் கொள்ளும் அரசியல்வியாதிகள் இன்றைக்கு பத்திரிகையாளர்கள் மூலமாகத்தான் தங்களுக்குள் பேசிக் கொள்கிறார்கள்..!

குல்தீப் நய்யார் எமர்ஜென்ஸி காலத்தில் என்னென்ன போராட்டகளையும், தியாகங்களும் செய்ய வேண்டியிருந்தது என்பதை பல சந்தர்ப்பங்களில் வெளியில் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.  அது நாட்டுக்கே ஏற்பட்ட துயரம். அதில் பத்திரிகையாளர்கள் பங்கெடுப்பு என்பது அப்போது தேவையான ஒன்று.

அதே சமயத்தில் இந்தியன் எக்ஸ்பிரஸின் ஸ்தாபகர் ராம்நாத் கோயங்கோ, மிசாவை எதிர்த்து தனது அனைத்து பத்திரிகை சக்தியையும் எந்த அளவுக்குப் பயன்படுத்தினார் என்பதும் நாம் அறிந்ததே. அவர் பயன்படுத்திய சக்தியும் கடைசியாக அரசியல் ரீதியாக பின்னாளில் மொரார்ஜி தேசாய்க்கு ஆதரவாகப் போய்ச் சேர்ந்தது என்பது தவிர்க்க முடியாத செயல்தான்.. ஒத்துக் கொள்ளலாம்.

ஆனால் இன்றைக்கு அவர்களைப் போல நாட்டுக்காக தங்களது செல்வாக்கையும், சொல்வாக்கையும் பயன்படுத்தும் பத்திரிகையாளர்களெல்லாம் காணாமல் போய் அரசியல்வியாதிகளின் கூட்டுக் களவாணித்தனத்துக்கு துணை போகும் நான்காவது எஸ்டேட்டுக்குள் இருக்கும் கூலியாட்கள்தான் அதிகரித்து விட்டார்கள்.

அ.ராசாவின் ஸ்பெக்ட்ரம் விவகாரத்தின் துவக்கப் புள்ளியின்போதே மீடியாக்களில் அதிகம் அடிபட்டது நீரா ராடியா என்னும் பெண்மணிதான். தேர்தலில் வென்று மன்மோகன்சிங் தலைமையில் அமைச்சரவை அமைக்க இருந்த காலக்கட்டத்தில் இந்தப் பெண்மணியின் செல்போனில் இருந்து பேசப்பட்ட அத்தனை பேச்சுக்களும் இந்தியாவின் எதிர்காலத்தையே தீர்மானிக்கப் போவதாக அமைந்திருக்கிறது என்பதுதான் முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்தது.

இந்தியாவின் அரசியலமைப்பு, வாக்குச் சீட்டிலும், வாக்காளர்களிடத்திலும் இல்லை. ஏன் அரசியல்வியாதிகளிடம்கூட இல்லை. அது நன்கு திட்டமிடப்பட்ட கார்ப்பரேட் கம்பெனிகளின் கைகளில்தான் இப்போது இருக்கிறது என்பதற்கு மிகச் சிறந்த உதாரணம் இரண்டாண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பாக இந்த நீரா ராடியாவுடனான செல்போன் பேச்சுக்கள் மூலம் வெளிப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

இதற்கெல்லாம் திராவிட இயக்கத்தின் வாரிசுகளே அடையாளமாகவும், காரணமாகவும் இருந்திக்கிறார்கள் என்பதுதான் மிகப் பெரும் வேதனை..

ஒரு காலத்தில் தி.மு.க.வின் டெல்லி நண்பர்களாக க.ராஜாராமும், இரா.செழியனும், நாஞ்சில் மனோகரனும், சம்பத்தும் வெவ்வேறு காலக்கட்டங்களில் திகழ்ந்திருக்கிறார்கள். இவர்கள் சிறந்த பார்லிமெண்டேரியன்கள் என்றே புகழப்பட்டவர்கள்.

பாராளுமன்றத்திற்கு இவர்கள் அனுப்பி வைக்கப்பட்டதன் காரணமே இவர்களுடைய அறிவாற்றல்தான். பேச்சுத் திறமைதான். கழகத்தின் மீது விசுவாசமானவர்கள், மாநிலத்தின் மீது அக்கறை கொண்டவர்கள்.. என்கிற நம்பிக்கையில்தான்.

ஆனால் இன்றைக்கு தி.மு.க.வின் சார்பில் பாராளுமன்றத்திற்கு அனுப்பி வைக்கப்பட்ட நபர்கள் அனைவருமே கலைஞரின் ரத்தச் சொந்தபந்தங்கள், அல்லது அந்தச் சொந்த பந்தங்களின் அருளாசி பெற்றவர்களாகவே இருந்து தொலைந்தது காலத்தின் கொடூரம்தான்.

ரத்தச் சொந்தங்களுக்குள் யார் பதவியை அடைவது..? யாருக்கு யார் குழி பறிப்பது..? யாரை வர விடாமல் தடுப்பது? என்று மட்டுமே யோசித்து அமைச்சரவையில் இடம் பெற வேண்டி ஒரு மாபெரும் மெளன யுத்தமே நடத்தியிருக்கிறார்கள் இந்த ரத்த வாரிசுகள்..!

தாங்கள் நேரிடையாகப் பேசாமல், தங்களுக்கென்றே தனி புரோக்கர்களை வைத்துக் கொண்டு அவர்கள் மூலமாகவே கூட்டணிக் கட்சியினரை டீலிங் செய்து அமைச்சரவையில் சீட்டுக்களை பிரித்துக் கொடுத்திருக்கும் கொடுமை வெளிப்பட்டபோதுகூட மத்திய, மாநில அரசுகள் கிஞ்சித்தும் வெட்கப்படாமல் அதற்கான சிறுதுளி வருத்தத்தைக்கூட இன்னமும் வெளிப்படுத்தாமல் இருக்கிறார்கள் பாருங்கள். இவர்கள்தான் உண்மையிலேயே ரோஷக்கார மனிதர்கள்..!

கட்சிகளுக்கு இடையே தேர்தல் காலக் கூட்டணி அமைக்க முயலும்போது இரு தரப்பிலும் பொதுவான ஒரு நபரை வைத்து பேசி முடிப்பார்கள். அதில் சில கட்சிகளின் ஆதாயமான பத்திரிகையாளர்கள் இடம் பெறக்கூடும். ஆச்சரியப்படுவதற்கில்லை. தவறும் இல்லை.

ஆனால் அமைச்சரவையில் இடம் பெற வேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவும், எந்தெந்த இலாகாக்கள் தங்களுக்கு வேண்டும் என்று கூட்டணிக் கட்சியினரிடம் பேசுவதற்கே ஒரு நாட்டின் பிரதான பணக்காரர்களிடையே செல்வாக்கு பெற்ற இடைத்தரகர் ஒருவர் தேவையெனில் இந்த நாடு எங்கே போய்க் கொண்டிருக்கிறது என்றுதான் தெரியவில்லை..!

முதலில் தயவு செய்து கடந்த ஜூலை மாதம் நான் வெளியிட்ட இந்தப் பதிவைப் படித்துவிட்டு அதன் பின்பு இங்கே மீண்டும் திரும்பி வாருங்கள்..

ஸ்பெக்டரம் ஊழல் - தரகர்களுடன் தமிழக அரசியல் மாபியாக்கள் ஆ. ராசாவும், கனிமொழியும்

13 ஆண்டு கால வனவாசத்திலும் தன்னிடமிருந்த பலரும் பிரிந்து போனாலும் பல தேர்தல்களை எதிர்கொண்டும் கட்சியைக் கலையாமல் பார்த்துக் கொண்டு விழுந்த ஆலமரம் ஒன்று எழுந்து நின்ற சரித்திரத்தை இந்தியாவிலேயே முதல் முறையாகச் செய்து காட்டிய கலைஞரின் திருமகள் கனிமொழிதான், ஒரு புரோக்கர் பெண்மணியிடம் இப்படி மந்திரி பதவி வேண்டும் என்று கெஞ்சுகிறார்..

இது காலத்தின் கோலமா? அல்லது கொடூரமா? அவர்களுடைய குடும்பப் பிரச்சினைகளெல்லாம் வண்டவாளத்தில் ஏறும் அளவுக்கு வெளிப்படையாக ஒரு புரோக்கரிடமே போய் பேசுகிறாரே..! இதுதான் மிக மிக ஆச்சரியத்தையும், அதிர்ச்சியையும் தருகிறது.

ஆசியக் கண்டத்தின் தனிப்பெரும் நாடான இந்தியாவின் மத்திய அமைச்சரவை சீட்டுகளே இப்படி ஏலத்தில் கிடைக்கும் அளவுக்கு மத்தியில் ஆளும் காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியின் நடவடிக்கைகள் இருந்து தொலைந்திருக்கின்றன என்பதும் கேவலமானது..!

எத்தனை அரசியல் பேசுகிறார்கள் இவர்கள்..? அ.ராசாவுக்கு தொலைத் தொடர்புத் துறையை வாங்கிக் கொடுத்தே தீருவது என்ற ரீதியில் கனிமொழியின் இந்த ஆவேசத்திற்கும், வெறிக்கும் அடிப்படையாக என்ன காரணம் என்பதை விசாரித்தே தீர வேண்டிய கட்டாயம் உண்டு.

அ.ராசா இந்தப் பதவியில் அமர்ந்ததால்தானே ஸ்பெக்ட்ரம் விவகாரத்தில் இவ்வளவு பெரிய ஊழலும், முறைகேடுகளும் நடந்திருக்கின்றன. அப்படியெனில் இவர்கள் இருவரும் திட்டமிட்டே இத்துறையைப் பெற்று தாங்கள் லாபம் சம்பாதிக்கத்தான் நினைத்திருக்கிறார்கள் என்று ஊகிப்பதில் என்ன தவறு இருக்க முடியும்..?

தொலைத்தொடர்புத் துறை தன்னுடைய நெருங்கிய உறவினரான தயாநிதி மாறனுக்குப் போய்விடக் கூடாது என்பதில் கனிமொழி காட்டிய ஆர்வத்தைப் பார்க்கின்றபோது, இதில் எங்கே கட்சி அரசியலும், மாநில அரசியலும், மக்கள் நலன் காக்கும் விஷயங்களும் அடங்கியிருக்கின்றன என்பதையும் நாம் யோசித்துப் பார்க்க வேண்டும்..!

“அவருக்கு என்ன வேணுமாம்..?” என்றுகூட தயாநிதி பற்றி கனிமொழி கேட்கிறார். இதற்கென்ன அர்ததம்..? தி.மு.க.வின் தலைவராக ஒருவர் இருந்தாலும், அவர் பெயரைச் சொல்லி ஆளாளுக்கு டெல்லியில் லாபி செய்திருக்கிறார்கள் என்றுதானே பொருள்.

கலைஞர் ஒரு லிஸ்ட்டை அனுப்பி வைத்தாலும், தயாநிதி மாறன், குலாம்நபி ஆசாத் மூலம் பிரதமரிடம் சொல்லித் தனக்கு ஒரு சீட்டை உறுதிப்படுத்த பெரும் முயற்சி எடுத்திருக்கிறார் என்பது ராடியாவின் டேப் உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறது.. இவர்களெல்லாம் தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களுக்காகவா மந்திரி பதவி வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்..?

எந்தத் துறையைக் கொடுத்தால்தான் என்ன..? பணியாற்ற முடியாதா..? ஏன் இந்தத் துறைதான் வேண்டும் என்று குறியாய் இருக்கிறார்கள்..? அப்போது இதை வைத்து தங்களுக்குச் சாதகமாக எதையோ சாதிக்கத் துடிக்கிறார்கள் என்றுதானே அர்த்தம்..?

ஊழல் மாப்பிள்ளை ராசா எடுத்த எடுப்பிலேயே கேட்கிறார்.. “என் பெயரை சேர்த்தாச்சா..?” என்று..!? ஏதோ கார்ப்பரேஷன் கக்கூஸ் கூட்டுற வேலை பாருங்க..! உடனேயே சாங்ஷன் ஆன மாதிரி சந்தோஷமும் படுகிறார்..!

இப்படி தனி நபர் ஒருவருக்குத்தான் இந்தியத் திருநாட்டின் அடுத்த அமைச்சரவை பட்டியலில் இடம் பெறுபவர்கள் யார், யார் என்பது தெரியும் எனில் இது என்ன அரசியல்..? என்ன ஜனநாயகம் என்று வெறுப்புதான் வருகிறது.. எவ்வளவுக்குத்தான் இந்த அரசியல்வியாதிகளைத் திட்டுவது..?

யார் இந்த நீரா ராடியா என்று வலையில் தேடினால் அவரைப் பற்றிப் பல அதிர்ச்சியான விஷயங்கள்தான் வந்து கொட்டுகின்றன.  இங்கே சென்று படித்துப் பாருங்கள்..!

இந்த நீரா ராடியா ஒரு பக்கம் கனிமொழி, ராசாவிடம் பேசிவிட்டு அந்தப் புறம் காங்கிரஸ் கட்சியை அணுகுவதற்கும் வேறொரு பத்திரிகையாளரைத்தான் அணுகியிருக்கிறார் என்பது இன்னும் அதிர்ச்சியான விஷயம்.

வீர் சங்வி என்னும் இந்தப் பத்திரிகையாளரை சில தொலைக்காட்சி நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் பார்த்திருக்கிறேன். ஆனால் இந்த அரசியல் புரோக்கர் தொழிலில் இவரும் ஒருவர் என்பது இன்றுதான் தெரிந்தது.. இவர் தற்போது ஹிந்துஸ்தான் டைம்ஸ் குழுமத்தில்  எடிட்டோரியல் டைரக்டராகப் பணியாற்றி வருகிறாராம்..

நீரா ராடியாவுக்கும், காங்கிரஸ் கட்சிக்கும் இணைப்புப் பாலமாக இவர்தான் திகழ்ந்திருக்கிறார் என்பது இவர்களது பேச்சில் இருந்தே தெள்ளத் தெளிவாகத் தெரிகிறது..!

இந்தப் பேச்சுக்களை இன்றைக்குத்தான் ட்விட்டர் வாயிலாக அவுட்லுக் பத்திரிகையின் இணையப் பக்கத்தில் பார்த்தேன். அது உங்களுக்காக இங்கே..!

தமிழில் மொழி பெயர்க்க எனது சிற்றறிவால் முடியவில்லை. முடிந்த அளவுக்குப் நீங்களே படித்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்..! யாரேனும் மொழி பெயர்த்துக் கொடுத்தால் மீண்டும் மாற்றுகிறேன்..!

Vir Sanghvi: I was suppose to meet Sonia today but I’ve been stuck here. So, now it’s becoming tomorrow. I’ve been meeting with Rahul but tell me?

Mira: No, I’ll tell you what - they are not understanding that they are actually communicating with the wrong guy. Not because I detached Maran but actually the father has not nominated Maran to negotiate. Now, you know, it’s like a banana republic where the cabinet…

Vir Sanghvi: Then why Maran became the face, they all hate Maran.

Mira: No. He is not, he is not. I know, no. But the Congress is under the impression. They have already apparently indicated to Maran that the Prime Minister will not give infrastructure berth to DMK, which, but he himself is desperately pushing for an infrastructure berth for himself.

Vir Sanghvi: Right.

Mira: But the problem is that there is a leader which is Kanni’s brother which is Alagiri, who’s won that election and he is a mass leader.

Vir Sanghvi: Okay.

Mira: Now what has apparently Maran has gone and indicated to Congress is that he will accept a MOS independent and you leave it with me, everything will be okay.

Vir Sanghvi: Okay.

Mira: Which blames Balu, Raja and Maran Cabinet posts independent to Alagiri and MOS to Kanni.

Vir Sanghvi: Okay.

Mira: Now, Alagiri is a very, you know, he is, he is a mass leader. He controls half of Tamil Nadu for Karunanidhi’s point of view.

Vir Sanghvi: Okay.

Mira: He is far too, too senior for Maran. So, what he has told his father that if you make Maran a cabinet minister…

Vir Sanghvi: Yeah.

Mira: …I’ll not come into the cabinet. And the father cannot afford to upset him because…

Vir Sanghvi: Obviously.

Mira: …simply because of his position.

Vir Sanghvi: Yeah.

Mira: Right now the Congress doesn’t seem to be understanding this.

Vir Sanghvi: So, who should they talk to?

Mira: They need to, look, they need to talk directly to Karunanidhi, they need to talk to Kanni.

Vir Sanghvi: Sonia spoke to him yesterday, you know.

Mira: No, she didn’t speak to him. Only Prime Minister spoke even that was Kanni was translating for him. It was very brief that, you know, let’s try and resolve this issue. There is nothing at all and whatever. They need to get Ghulam Nabi Azad to speak to Kanimozhi.

Vir Sanghvi: Okay.

Mira: Seriously, that’s the only thing that will work and Kanni will take them to her father.

Vir Sanghvi: I won’t get into Sonia in the short term, let me try and get through to Ahmed.

Mira: No. But they need to speak to Kanni and Kanni will take him to their, her father directly.

Vir Sanghvi: Okay.

Mira: He has no problem with three cabinet berths at all. In fact it is the Congress that messed it up.

Vir Sanghvi: Mm-hmm.

Mira: Had they, had they not kept on insisting and kept on pushing Maran forward themselves have been pushing Maran forward. They would have left it to Raja and, and Balu even if they wanted or Raja and Alagiri and Kanni would taken independent, nobody will, it is Congress they started this whole Maran dialogue.

Vir Sanghvi: Oh, I have been thinking that DMK nominated Maran.

Mira: No. No. No. No, they did, they’ve sent a list earlier with five portfolios and Maran’s name because father was pushed … so he had to send a list with everybody’s name on it. But he was hoping that Congress would come back and say okay we will accept Raja or we will not, or not Raja, we will give you only three portfolios right? But they have not able to, the communication that’s been happening in Congress with DMK has been complete warped. They are talking to the wrong guys.

Vir Sanghvi: Okay. Let me try and get through to Ahmed.

Mira: The, the simplest way is Kanni [Indiscernible] [0:03:24].

Vir Sanghvi: Yeah.

Mira: And Kanni [Indiscernible] [0:03:27] will take them to her father directly.

Vir Sanghvi: Okay.

Mira: And they can have this, you know, whatever are the, the concerns, whatever they want to say, let them say in front of Kanni.

Vir Sanghvi: And he’ll never mind. He will not mind.

Mira: Yeah, they should say, they should say we don’t want Maran.

Vir Sanghvi: Okay. Done. Let me just try and get through and I’ll let you know soon.

Mira: But the moment you drop Maran, your problem gets resolved because Alagiri has done okay.

Vir Sanghvi: Okay.

Mira: Yeah.

Nira: He did not, they are not telling everybody.

Vir Sanghvi: He will not meet Sonia, he is been there, they say we’re not treating him as official spokesperson at all. He called just now, I saw your message, he is nonstop calling up Ghulam Nabi Azad every half an hour and making new demands and all that.

Nira: Mm-hmm.

Vir Sanghvi: As far as we’re concerned there is two wives, one brother, one sister, one nephew it’s all got very complicated for us. We’ve made a basic offer, if Karunanidhi responds to us and tell this that he would like to respond directly, he would like to talk to Ms. Gandhi. He spoke only to Manmohan Singh. We would be more than happy but we’re not going to chase them now. We’ve told Maran that also they’ve to come back to us and tell us what they think of our offer. And apparently the DMK is getting very bad press in Chennai.

Nira: Mm-hmm.

Vir Sanghvi: So, he said we’re going to wait for two days. Let them come back, we are of the line that this is not a Congress DMK problem, this is an internal DMK problem because they can’t get their act together between all his wives and children and nephews and all of that. He is got to get his act together and nominate one person and we would be very happy to deal with him. We are not happy with this Maran who keeps calling up Ghulam Nabi and saying talk to me, talk to me. They are not taking him seriously.

Nira: Very interesting. I’m glad of - you spoke to Ghulam Nabi, is it?

Vir Sanghvi: I spoke to Ahmed.

Nira: Ahmed [Indiscernible] [0:01:35].

Vir Sanghvi: Ghulam Nabi is not very key figure, Ahmed is the key figure.

Nira: Right, right, right.

Vir Sanghvi: Yeah. So, Ahmed he says Ghulam has been dealing with Maran. But Ghulam is not our official person and we’re not taking Maran seriously. As far as they are concerned they’ve asked for five crucial ministry, they’ve asked for five crucial ministry, it’s an idiotic and unreasonable demand. We’ve made them a perfectly reasonable demand. Now, it is for Karunanidhi to get back to us, Kanni come and see us, anyone can come and see us and say I’ll put you on the line with my father et cetera, lines are, doors are open to her. But we can’t have a situation where Maran keeps calling us and saying I’m the person and telling Ghulam, I want this, I want that, who is Maran?

Nira: Mm-hmm.

Vir Sanghvi: Maran has gone back apparently today to Chennai?

Nira: Yeah. He has gone back, yeah. I’ll tell him to call back.

Vir Sanghvi: He says, we told him - we told Maran also that we’ll deal with Karunanidhi, so he has gone back. So, they are quite hopeful they say, we made a very reasonable offer, we’ve lot of regards for Karunanidhi, we would like to deal with him. We have no regard for Maran.

Nira: Okay. That’s interesting.

Vir Sanghvi: Yeah.

Nira: I better tell them this.

Vir Sanghvi: Yeah. Then he further, I mean, just let me know and I’ll take it further.

Nira: Okay, great. And…

Vir Sanghvi: Yeah. And 1:30 tomorrow, you know…

Vir Sanghvi, who writes a weekly column for the Sunday edition of HT, virtually takes a dictation from Radia on what he ought to write in the column. Radia asks him to write against Anil Ambani and the high court decision on the gas pricing controversy:

RADIA: But basically, the point is what has happened as far as the High Court is concerned is a very painful thing for the country because what is done is against national interest.

VIR: Okay.

RADIA: I think that's the underlying message.

VIR: Okay. That message we will do. That allocation of resources which are scarce national resources of a poor country cannot be done in this arbitrary fashion to benefit a few rich people.

RADIA: That's right.

VIR: Yeah. That message we will get across, but what other points do we need to make?

RADIA: I think we need to say that you know it's a lesson for the corporate world that, you know, they need to think through whenever they want to look at this, whether they really seriously do give back to society.

VIR: So I will link it to the election verdict. The fact that there has been so much Narega, that Sonia has committed to including everybody, that it should be inclusive growth. It shouldn't just benefit the few fat cats. It shouldn't be cronyism. It shouldn't be arbitrary. That's how the message for this five years of Manmohan Singh should be-that you have to put an end to this kind of allocations of scarce resources on the basis of corruption and arbitrariness at the cost of the country, otherwise the country will not forgive you.

RADIA: Yeah, but Vir, you have to keep in mind that he has been given the gas field by the Government to operate. He spent ten billion dollars on it.

VIR: Okay.

RADIA: Anil Ambani is getting the benefit without spending a cent on it...

VIR: I'll make those points, no?

RADIA: Yeah. VIR: So I'll make those points. The people, because the system is so corrupt and open to manipulation, by manipulating the system, by not paying anybody you can get hands on resources. Therefore the only way Manmohan Singh hopes to survive is to get a handle on the resources and have some kind of way of allocating them that is transparent, fair and perhaps done by him.

RADIA: But there you will be attacking Mukesh only, no.

VIR: Why, why, why, explain that.

RADIA: You see, because a resource has been allocated to Mukesh in this case.

VIR: So, what point do you want me to make?

RADIA: The point I'm making is that here, the point is limited to the fact that you cannot have a High Court deciding on this. You cannot have a tribunal deciding on this.....

...RADIA: Yeah. But you want to say that you know, more importantly that here a family MoU has taken precedence over national interest, and what the judge has done... I mean you'll have to attack the judge here because the judge has, what he's done, he's given preference to an MoU. He has held on to the MoU and said, 'Okay, this had to be implemented.' But he has forgotten what's good, that's why it raises a bigger constitutional issue.

VIR: Which is?

RADIA: Which is natural resources is really a constitutional issue. It has to do with the country and the nation.

VIR: It's not between two brothers and their fight.

RADIA: It's not and therefore the judge's interpretation of an MoU...

VIR: Yeah.

RADIA: It cannot be the basis of the way how we can proceed on these sorts of issues. I mean, you have to attack the fact that the judge has only gone into the MoU. His entire judgment is on the basis of the MoU.

VIR: Yeah.

RADIA: And therefore a judgment between two family members cannot be how you decide the future.

VIR: Okay. Let this Rohit come, let me explain to him, and I'll talk to you and tell you what line I'm taking.

RADIA: Okay. And you'll do it for next Sunday, is it?

Raja: …but it has to be discussed with Leader

Raja: Other problems we will take care of slowly, because now Leader comes down

R: Don’t worry

N: Now Leader comes down to three, no?

Nira: Yeah

Raja: Even you are saying that Maran is not fit for infrastructure… he is having controversy… alright, let him be accommodated in the existing ministry… at least we will suggest

Nira: Maran?

Raja: Hmm… you suggest, you send a message

That he and Stalin tomorrow will be the only ones left to run the party because the old man is senile and he is not going to be around any longer, and therefore Congress will be happy doing business with him because it will be him… him eventually, and he controls Stalin.

Nira: I sent you an SMS. I’ve been speaking to Kani, so I just thought that… basically what they are saying is that you should be there.

Raja: Haan

Nira: Leader is generally is saying that you should be there, because of the, you know, the Dalit dispensation, all that, you know. The Dravidian, the party, and all that… saying that Leader, if it was left to him, he would have focused on the party first. This is unfortunate that his family is coming in the way and Cho Ramaswamy has given a favourable remark that it should be limited to this thing

Raja: Okay

Nira: But I’ve been talking to Kani, she spoke to me, she said, “No independent.” They are not giving independent… just now.

Raja: My case is clear, yes?

Nira: Yours is clear, yeah. Your case was cleared last night only

Raja: Okay

Nira: No, but what is happening with Daya?

Raja: What?

Nira: Daya?

Raja: Rest of the thing is… Textiles or Fertilisers

Nira: Not for Daya…

Nira: But Azhagiri or Daya? Only one can come, no?

N: Hmm

R: …that has to be taken care of

Nira: You have to fight differently.

R: Hmm… he may tell the press Prime Minister is coming again... this and that… spectrum…

Nira: No, no… we are handling… don’t worry. We have to take so much off, you know, even Congress had to make that statement, no? I spoke to Sunil Mittal…Did Chandoliya tell you?

Raja: I didn't know

Nira: I told him to stop. I told him, it doesn’t help…

Raja: Hmm …tell Sunil Mittal, you have to work along with Raja for another five years. So, don’t..

Nira: I told him that. I told him that. But then you also have to distance yourself from Anil. You must be neutral.

இதில் குறிப்பிட்டிருக்கும் நாராயணன், நமது நாட்டின் தேசிய பாதுகாப்பு ஆலோசகர் என்கிற பொறுப்பில் இருந்த மகா உத்தமர். ஆனால் என்ன வேலை செய்திருக்கிறார் பாருங்கள்.. இதுதான் தேசிய பாதுகாப்பை பார்த்துக் கொள்ளும் லட்சணமா..? இரண்டு கட்சிகளுக்குள் இடைத்தரகராக இருப்பது.. யார் அமைச்சராக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று பிரதமருக்கே உளவறிந்து சொல்வது என்று போட்ட பிச்சைக்காசுக்கு மேலேயே வேலை செய்திருக்கிறார் இந்தி நாராயணன்..!

ராடியாவுடனான இந்தத் தொலைபேசி பேச்சு பற்றி வீர் சங்வி தனது கருத்தாக தனது வலைத்தளத்தில் இட்டிருக்கும் செய்தி இது :

Several months ago, stories began appearing in a section of the media suggesting that I - along with other journalists - had lobbied on behalf of A. Raja.

As I have never met Mr Raja and have attacked his corruption in both print and TV, these assertions struck me as bizarre.

The stories were based on tape-recorded conversations that Niira Radia had with innumerable individuals, including several journalists.

A magazine has now published what purports to be transcripts of those conversations though it says “We are in no position to endorse the contents of the recordings” which presumably means that it is not guaranteeing their authenticity.

While nobody can remember verbatim every conversation that took place 19 months ago, these transcripts do not appear to be entirely accurate.

Moreover, there is nothing at all in the transcripts to suggest that I lobbied for Mr Raja. The conversations recorded relate to the phase when there was an impasse between the DMK and the Congress. Ms Radia called several journalists, including me, to ask us to convey a message to any Congress leaders we met in the course of our work. This message was, essentially, that the Congress was communicating with the wrong people in the DMK.
 

While gathering news, journalists talk to a wide variety of sources from all walks of life, especially when a fast-moving story is unfolding. Out of a desire to elicit more information from these sources, we are generally polite. I received many calls from different sources during that period. In no case did I act on those requests as anybody in the government will know.

 The second conversation relates to the dispute between the Ambani brothers. I had asked Ms Radia to explain the position of her client, Mukesh Ambani. And I also asked Anil Ambani’s side for its views.

This was recorded in the piece. I wrote: “My friend, Tony Jesudasan, who represents Anil, took me out to lunch and made out a case for Anil. I was totally convinced till my friend, Niira Radia, who represents Mukesh, gave me the other side which frankly seemed just as convincing to my inexpert ears”.

I also wrote, “Why do the Ambanis think that all of us should take sides in their battle? Or that we should care what happens to them?”  That still remains my view.

கிட்டத்தட்ட ஆறு டேப்புகளில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட இந்தப் பேச்சுக்கள் இப்படி வெளிப்படையாக மக்கள் மன்றத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்ட பின்பும் இது பற்றி மூச்சுவிடாமல் கட்சியை நடத்தி வருகிறார் தி.மு.க. தலைவர்.

தங்களைப் பற்றிய அத்தனை அக்கப்போர்களையும் இப்படி பட்டவர்த்தனமாக யாரோ பேசியிருக்கிறார்களே என்கிற ஒரு சிறிய வருத்தம்கூட இல்லாமல், குடும்பமே சேர்ந்து மிகச் சமீபத்தில் கும்மியடித்திருக்கும் நிகழ்ச்சியைப் பார்க்கின்றபோது இவர்களது நடிப்பை அடித்துக் கொள்ளும்படியான காட்சியை வைக்க, ஆந்திர சினிமா கதை ஆசிரியர்களால்கூட முடியாது என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.

இதுவே தமிழ்நாட்டு பத்திரிகைகளில் இதுபோல் அவர்களைப் பற்றி செய்தி வந்திருந்தால் “பார்ப்பு, பார்ப்பான், பூணூல்” என்று அளந்து விட்டிருப்பார் கலைஞர். ஆனால் இங்கே இந்த இரண்டு புரோக்கர்களும் பேசியது அவரது சீட்டுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல பரம்பரைக்கே  வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் அணுகுண்டு என்பதை உணர்ந்துதான் வாயைப் பொத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.

“அவரோட அத்தனை பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் சீட்டு தர முடியுமா?” என்பதில் துவங்கி, கனிமொழி ராசாவுக்காக வாதாடுவது வரையிலும் பட்டவர்த்தனமாக உண்மைகள் இங்கே வெளிப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன.

இதில் இருந்து தெரிவது என்னவென்றால் முறைகேடுகளும், ஊழல்களும் இப்போதெல்லாம் அரசியல்வியாதிகளால் நன்கு திட்டமிட்டுத்தான் செய்யப்படுகின்றன. எத்தகைய எதிர்ப்புகள் வந்தாலும் ஓசியில் எதைக் கொடுத்தாலும் வாங்கிக் கொண்டு ஓட்டுப் போடும் ஆட்டு மந்தைகளான மக்கள் இருக்கின்றவரையில் நமக்குக் கவலையில்லை என்கிற அலட்சியத்திற்கு அரசியல்வியாதிகளும் போய்விட்டார்கள் என்பதும் தெள்ளத் தெளிவாகத் தெரிகிறது.

சிங்கிள் டீயையும், பன்னையும் குடித்துவிட்டு தொண்டை கிழிய கழகம் வாழ்க, கட்சி வாழ்க, தலைவர் வாழ்க, எம்.பி. வாழ்க என்று கோஷம் போட்டு தெருத்தெருவாக நாய் போல் அலைந்து திரிந்து வெற்றியைத் தேடித் தந்த அந்த அப்பாவித் தொண்டர்களை நினைத்தால்தான் பாவமாக இருக்கிறது..!

குடும்பத் தலைவர் இருக்கிறார். உடன் இருக்கும் அத்தனை பிள்ளைகளும் ஆளுக்கொரு நவக்கிரகங்களாக..! ஆனாலும் அவரைச் சுற்றிச் சுற்றி வருகிறார்கள். கை குலுக்கிக் கொள்கிறார்கள். ஒருவருக்கொருவர் முகம் பார்த்து சிரித்துக் கொண்டாலும் கைகளில் கத்தியோடு ஒருவரையொருவர் குத்திக் கொல்லத் தருணம் பார்த்துக் காத்திருக்கிறார்கள் என்பதை இதன் மூலம் நன்கு அறிய முடிகிறது.

அப்படியாவது அடிச்சுக்கிட்டு சாவுங்கடா..!
